The OMD tool is a PC application that takes the starting and ending location as input and downloads all maps at different zoom levels from Map providers like Windows Live Local, Yahoo etc for the area into GPSWatch supported map files. These map files can be copied to the memory card @ GPSWatch\data and phew GPSWatch will then have all these maps cached.
